Where each portfolio number comes from
Finda is a read-only wealth dashboard, not a broker or a complete investment-performance ledger. Its public demo uses fictional figures. Real portfolio pages require authentication and owner access.
Holdings and prices have separate clocks
Connected account snapshots, supported statement imports and configured source files provide quantities and balances. Manual records are not automatically included in the consolidated portfolio. Recorded broker debits and short-box borrowing are treated as liabilities; this is not a complete debt register. Market feeds provide prices. Refreshing a quote does not refresh a statement. A failed feed retains a previous value and is identified as incomplete.
Historical values are modeled
The chart applies historical prices to today’s recorded holdings. It does not reconstruct every trade, deposit, withdrawal, dividend or interest payment. Benchmark comparisons use the same modeled starting value; they are not an audited return record.
Unknown costs stay unknown
Without a complete ledger of fees and transactions, Finda does not present an actual annual fee total. Available statement-derived rates describe their source transactions; they do not establish the cost of every account or future trade.
Estimates retain their purpose
Property index values are market proxies. Tax calculations are estimates based on the selected declared data and applicable model, not a filed return. A short-box liability needs repayment; closing it consumes cash. A historical return does not establish profitable future borrowing.
Private accounts stay private
Owner-only authorization protects the real portfolio. Password plus a second factor or a supported passkey controls access; sessions can be revoked. Public guides, metadata, the sitemap and the demo contain no real household balances.
